P7-M Worth of Drugs Nabbed from a Woman in Banilad

About a kilo of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride also known as “shabu” was recovered in a buy-bust operation on Wednesday in Brgy. Banilad, Cebu City, March 13, 2019.

Talamban City Police led by Police Senior Inspector Elsandro Quijano conducted a buy-bust operation in the area pass 12:00 am.

The suspect was identified by the operatives as Vanessa Lauron also known as “Van Van”, 24 years old, and a resident of Sitio Ponce 1, Brgy. Carreta, Cebu City.

Operatives recovered more or less a kilo of suspected drugs from the suspect that had an estimated value of P7,031,200.

Lauron is now detained and will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165. (ASC)
