P2-M Worth of Drugs Nabbed in Negros

Over P2 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride also known as ‘shabu’ were recovered from three suspected drug personalities in separate execution of search warrants in Bacong, Negros Oriental, March 26, 2019.

Operatives around 11:00am conducted the search in virtue of search warrants in the said place and arrested Jason Vasquez, 43 and live-in partner Fatima Lakaniuk, 31 inside their house.

Recovered from Vasquez and Lakamiuk were 15 packs of suspected shabu that weighed 300 grams with an estimated value of P2,040,000, empty plastic sachets, and an improvised metal heat sealer.

In another search conducted, the target Clyde Basig, 32 yielded three packs of suspected shabu weighing 40 grams with an estimated value of P272,000 and assorted paraphernalias.

P2,312,000 worth of suspected shabu were recovered in two separate searches. (ASC)
