Over P60-M Worth of Drugs Nabbed From Food Delivery Rider

Over P60 million worth of suspected shabu was seized from a 24-year-old food delivery rider last April 23 at Barangay Guadalupe in Cebu City.

The suspect was arrested by the operatives of the Regional Police Drug Enforcement Unit (RPDEU-7) during a buy-bust operation in the area.

The suspect yielded around 10 kilos in total weight divided into eight large packs of suspected shabu or methamphetamine hydrochloride with “888” written on the packaging.

The seized drugs were worth P68 million, according to the Dangerous Drugs Board.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 7 (PDEA 7) assistant regional director John Mark Malibiran said that this is the biggest drug haul so far this year. (ASC)
