Oil Firms to Adjust Pump Prices Tuesday; Gasoline Up, Diesel Down

Several oil companies announced pump prices’ adjustments effective Tuesday.

Chevron Philippines Inc. (CPI) or Caltex, Flying V, Phoenix Petroleum Philippines, Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp., Seaoil Philippines Inc., and Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc., said they will increase prices of gasoline by PHP0.30 per liter.

The same companies also announced roll back in prices of diesel by PHP0.10 per liter.

Movement in prices of kerosene was not announced.

According to the companies, the adjustments in oil prices reflect the movement of prices in the international petroleum market.

Data from the energy department showed that as of September 13, price range for diesel is from PHP24.50 to PHP28.57 per liter while for gasoline is from PHP34.20 to PHP43.05 per liter.(PNA) FPV/KMC
