Octoberfest 2014 Battle of the Bands

Octoberfest will happen this October 25, 2014 at Baruffols Resort Jubay Liloan Cebu. The event will have a battle of the bands that has a whopping grand prize of P10,000.

Registration Fee is at P500.00 and registration period will be until October 24, 2014.

Oktoberfest is originally a 16-day funfair held yearly in Munich, Bavaria Germany. The festival runs from late September to the first weekend in October with over 6 million people around the world joining the event.

Locally, it is often simply called Wiesn, after the colloquial name of the fairgrounds (Theresienwiese) themselves. The Oktoberfest is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since 1810.

The event has inspired numerous similar events using the name Oktoberfest in Germany and around the world, many of which were founded by German immigrants or their descendants.

In the Philippines, the event is mostly held on October with beer drinking and bands performing as the main feature of the event.

This Octoberfest 2014 will also have a, Beach and Pool Access, Techno Party and a Red Cup Party. Tickets are at P150.00. The Octoberfest 2014 is also sponsored by Globe, Eye Care Clinic, Pepsi, Tanduay and Ever Bilena.
