November 30 is a Holiday

It will be a long weekend this week. This as November 30, 2015, Monday will be a holiday in celebration of the Andres Bonifacio Day.

November 30 is declared as a regular holiday pursuant to the Republic Act 9492. Per RA 9492, the celebration in honor of Bonifacio who was known as the “Father of the Philippine Revolution” falls on the Monday nearest to November 30.

The city government here led by Mayor Michael Rama will commemorate the 152nd Birth anniversary of Bonifacio. During that day, the city will hold a holy mass and a floral offering at the Andres Bonifacio monument inside the city’s Plaza Independencia.
