Miss Sibonga Crowned as Miss Cebu 2023

Sibonga’s beauty queen Kefaiah Al-zair, bags this year’s crown at the recently concluded Miss Cebu 2023 held at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino yesterday, January 11, 2023.

Al-zair bested 11 other candidates from different cities and towns in Cebu.

One of the highlights of Al-zair was when she wowed the crowd with her beautiful purple evening gown made by local designer Wendell Quisido — which made her win the Best in Evening Gown award.

Aside from that award, she also bagged other several special awards including Best in Hinablon, Miss Pagcor Charity, and Miss Oro Galleria.

Completing her court were candidates first runner-up Patricia Duenas, second runner-up Corinthia Empe, third runner-up Chynna Dorado, and 4th runner-up Niña Daniel Illustrisimo.

The 19-year-old Al-zair is a nursing student and a proud native of Sibonga Town. (ASC)
