To help Cebuanos make informed decisions when they cast their votes in the 2016 presidential election, the proponents of Mega Cebu will hold a presidential forum on Nov. 12 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJR) Coliseum, Basak Campus.

The Mega Decision 2016, a forum on presidential candidates, will give the public an idea on what the presidential candidates’ thoughts are on the different issues our country, especially Cebu, is facing.

“The candidates will be addressing different concerns from the different sectors of our community,” said Caroline Ballesteros, Mega Cebu communication and stakeholder relationship manager.

Liberal Party standard bearer Mar Roxas, Senator Grace Poe, Vice President Jejomar Binay and Senator Miriam Defensor Santiago are the presidentiables who are expected to attend the forum.

Social Development Celebration (SDC) 2015, one of the organizations behind this forum, will present its agenda to the candidates and to the public. Mega Cebu’s Roadmap study will also be introduced to the candidates.

“We want to ensure that whoever sits in Malacañang is well informed about Mega Cebu,” said Ballesteros.

Mega Decision 2016 is produced by Mega Cebu and Caucus of Development NGO Networks (CODE-NGO).

Its organizers are Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc., Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cebu Business Club, Coalition for Better Education, Movement for a Livable Cebu, USJ-R, and Cebu Daily News.
