Wanting that mediterranean and European feel in your dining experience? You got that at Fuzion Gourmet Deli, Cafe and Restaurant, as it opened its doors to all the adventurous food-holics in the city at Mango Square Mall in Mango Avenue, Cebu City.

Dishes like Salade Nicoise (with seared Tuna), snacks and appetizers Quiche Lorraine, Flammekueche, and Hugarian sausage among many others, whipped up by owner and former gourmet consultant Divine Veloso-Couvreux, will definitely delight diners at this one mediterranean-inspired haven.

Thrown up with passion, Couvreux was the one who personally and intricately managed the details of her restaurant in its design and decorations—a liberty which she never enjoyed in her consultancy profession, which is the reason behind by the way why she put up her own restaurant after many years working in the industry.

“I want to follow my own recipes, my own decorations. Clients are the ones to be followed in consultancy. It’s what they want that you follow,” Couvreux quipped.

Fuzion Gourmet Deli, Cafe and Restaurant opened initially two months ago and officially last September 14.

Several food innovations from Couvreux are available at the gourmet from Monday to Sunday at 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. and up to 2 a.m. on weekends. Purchase of food at Fuzion Gourmet Mango Square Mall entitles clients to free use of its resort venue at Alta Vista, Pardo, Cebu City which caters functions like team-

buildings, business meetings, parties, weddings and birthday receptions. One may inquire at the restaurant or call (032) 254-1586 for details. For more inquiries, you may also email at fuziongourmet@yahoo.com or visit Facebook page Fuzion Gourmet.

Fuzion Gourmet also is a good place to drink coffee, eat wrap sandwiches, enjoy delectable pastries and refreshing drinks and affordable empanadas. Foods from different countries like India, France, Thailand, and other parts of the Mediterranean and Europe are available.

When asked what is the distinction of Fuzion Gourmet among other restaurants in the city, Couvreux concluded “We have value-for-money dishes because we are the ones who prepare it. You can enjoy it in a cozy place as this.”
