Last Title Run for Roger Federer

With the world number 1 and Wimbledon defending champion Novak Djokovic out of the prestigious Wimbledon 2016, who suffered a painful loss against world number 41 Sam Querrey, where the match was tagged as the biggest upset of tennis history in 2 years.

With the favorite to win the Wimbledon this year out, there was someone who smells another title run, Roger Federer.

Federer lost back to back finals in Wimbledon against Djokovic, and with the Novak out, Federer’s light to the championship did not darken.

With a very illustrious career and with “The greatest player ever” to play the game behind his back, he again will prove his worth in this year’s Wimbledon. Getting another championship would mean a lot to Federer, with 17 grandslam titles in his bag, getting another one at the downfall of his peak would be the greatest achievement in his career.

While Federer comes strong, the only contender who smells blood like Federer would be Andy Murray, the champion 2 years ago.
