Kaona Grill Resto Is Back!

Published

on

Great ambiance, awesome food, ice-cold beer–all the ingredients for the ultimate chillax evening in Cebu. You won’t have to look far because the old-time favorite hang-out place is back in the city. Remember the good old times in the bustling area across Ayala with good music and sizzling foods? Well, it is back with a new city address: Wilson St., Lahug, Cebu City. You wouldn’t even notice that it’s parallel to Salinas Drive because of its same relaxed and inviting garden vibe.

Kaona Grill serves new dishes for the Cebuanos! They are Monggo Soup with Coconut and Chicharon, Sugbuanon Kusgan Meal (Mais rice in banana leaves topped with Chicken and Pork Adobo Curry) and Drunken Ice Cream (Turon and Suman with Vanilla Ice Ceam mixed with Mango Rhum) for desert. If you want to experience a different kind of party–one in your mouth!–taste the signature recipe Crispy Kare-Kare with its deep-friend pork, peanut sauce, crisp native veggies and bagoong dish. Surely, it will throw back away that diet out of the window! A must also is to have its known and well-loved recipes pork belly, sizzling sisig, squid a la pobre, calamares and grilled bangus, to be still on the order list. It has also given a fresh new twist to its famous barbecue–pork, chicken and shrimp kebabs. Wash this down with an ice-cold bottle of beer (or two or three) or a glass of Dalandan Slush or Iced Tea blended with a fresh fruit extract.

Kaona Grill has been in the food business for almost 10 years since their original spot at the Cebu Business Park to the corner of A.S. Fortuna and now in Lahug. Serving the best food and service has been its number one priority. Whether you are just having their favorite meal or hanging out for a beer, the environment of the garden setting will put you at ease right away with the restaurant’s relaxed ambiance and new interiors, having Anahaw details. The trademark chalkboard art also is still very much alive and is all over the place.
