Talisay City Mayor Johnny V. Delos Reyes is set to highlight with achievements his first 100 days of office as he gives his report to the people on Thursday.

Delos Reyes, in an interview, said his administration has accomplished “almost 100 percent” of his promises to the people during the election and added that this is what he will be relaying to them in his speech Thursday afternoon at the City Hall grounds.

Delos Reyes pointed out the newly opened public pharmacy, the four new ambulance units and the garbage trucks, which, he said, were all acquired in his first three months since he assumed office.

He added he was able to do all that despite the city’s deficit of P39 million which was allegedly incurred by the administration before him. He said his administration was able to source out funds for his projects from the collection of taxes and other fees.

It also helped that the city’s slaughterhouse has almost tripled its income at P1.4 million for the month of August from P400,000 in the past months. He said the September report even showed a P3 million income, which Delos Reyes is thankful for as it means it can help cushion the impact of being deficit.

Delos Reyes is set to deliver his report at 4 pm Thursday in front of the City Hall.
