INDEPENDENCE DAY 2014

Cebu City Mayor Mike Rama releases a dove on Thursday during the ceremonial observance of the country’s 116th anniversary celebration of the proclamation of Independence.  Cebu City officials, along with members of the Philippine National Police and City Hall employees, join the mayor in the celebration that spurred heroism and revolution against Spanish colonialism more than a hundred years ago.
