Indak Premieres in Cebu

Home of the Filipino Blockbuster Movies, VIVA Films premiered their latest project at the Cinema 1 of SM City Cebu on Tuesday night, August 6.

The stars, Sam Concepcion and the Multimedia Princess Nadine Lustre performed in front of their fans at the Mountain Wing of SM Seaside hours before the premiere night.

The fans were really hyped and excited to see the main stars of the movie.

Concepcion performed the Bruno Mars hit “24k Magic” while Lustre who just bagged 3 consecutive best actress awards performed her hit song “Stay Up”.

The said awards were from the Young Critic’s Circle, FAMAS and Gawad Urian, for her performance in the movie “Never Not Love you”.

Meanwhile, in an exclusive interview with Lustre, she said that the biggest impact of the movie is finding one’s self and to never give up on your dreams.

“Feeling ko yung pinaka makakarelate dito is yung sa character ko kasi parang hinahanap nya yung sarili nya, ito kasing pelikula is about finding yourself and never give up on your dreams (I feel that people can relate to my character especially those people who is still finding themselves, their true value. This movie is about finding yourself and to never give up on your dreams),” Lustre said.

On the other hand, Concepcion explained the effort they put on the movie to make it worth watching.

“We wanted to create a dance movie at the same time pinoy pa din siya, there was a lot of dancing and we really trained a lot,” Concepcion said.

Cebuana hitmaker Karencitta was also present at the premiere night since she is also part of the movie.

Indak, shot in the beautiful island of Bantayan and South Korea is a movie about a talented island girl Jen (Nadine Lustre) trying to find herself and get out of her comfort zone until he met Vin (Sam Concepcion).

Indak, directed by Paul Basinillo and produced by VIVA Films is showing in cinemas nationwide starting today, August 7. (MLC)
