Iloilo City Gov’t Suspends Classes in Elementary, High School Due to TD ‘Marce’

Classes in public and private elementary and secondary schools in this city were suspended Thursday due to tropical depression “Marce”.

Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog today signed Executive Order 70 which said that the suspension is “highly called for so as to ensure the safety and welfare of school children in the said levels.”

The suspension of classes in the tertiary level is subject to the discretion of their school administration, he said.
