HRRACI Cooks ‘Cebu Goes Culinary’ at SM

Professional chefs from the different hotels and resorts in the Province of Cebu and  the Hotel, Resort and Restaurant Association of Cebu, Inc. (HRRACI) brings back Cebu Goes Culinary to Cebuanos this year, kicking off on July 25 and 26 at the SM City Cebu’s Trade Hall and Northwing.

Along with leaders in Cebu’s culinary field, aspiring culinary students from universities and culinary schools will also be participating in this year’s biggest culinary contest, which will showcase 20 categories.

This will put to test skills in artistry, creativity and speed in cooking, cake decorating, table-setting, bartending and more.

Aside from Cebu-based participants, some participants of this year’s culinary competition came from neighboring provinces neighboring provinces such as Dumaguete, Negros, and Bohol.

The event’s theme “Spice Up”, fosters a light, fun and friendly competition while enjoying the presences of those who also have a passion for the culinary arts.

It allows the culinary community of Cebu to grow on a personal level among experienced hoteliers.

Gracing the event are celebrity chefs Myrna Segismundo, Hilda Sandique, Glenda Barretto, Penk Tan, Raul Ramos, Sau del Rosario, Norbert Gandler and Sandy Daza.

HRRACI is a non-profit, non-government organization comprising of different players in Cebu’s Hospitality, Food and Beverage industries whose aim is to promote professionalism in the hospitality industry.
