Homemade Peanut Butter Recipe

Peanut butter is a healthy breakfast option. You can spread it on bread, or simply lick it off with a spoon. Peanut butter is easy to prepare and with this recipe you cannot go wrong.

Ingredients:

2 cups peanuts
2 teaspoon oil
½ teaspoon salt
1-2 teaspoon honey

Directions:

1) Roast the peanuts on a pan or it can be baked. For baking, spread the peanuts on a baking tray and place it in pre-heated oven of 180 degree Celsius. After 6 to 8 minutes pull out the tray and check if they are not burnt. If you prefer raw peanut butter, you can skip this step.

2) Allow it to cool down.

3) Blend the peanuts in a mixer. Add the oil, salt and honey, and blend it again. The consistency depends on you.

4) Store it in an airtight jar and refrigerate it.

Additional Tip: You can add some bars of your favorite chocolate or Nutella spread to make a Homemade Chocolate Peanut Butter spread.
