Germany Needs More Nurses

The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) is now accepting applications for the three hundred (300) job openings for nurses in different hospitals in Germany which will be sourced in three key places nationwide- Cebu, Baguio and Manila, a press release from the local POEA office here said.

The job opening is a government to government hiring with code no. rsf 160029 and is named as the Triple Win Project. The project started in 2013 with the POEA government placement branch and the German federal employment agency as its government counterpart in Germany.

Nurses will be assigned in ICU, general, medical, surgery and geriatric ward with the following qualifications- Bachelor of science in nursing (four years professional education) and valid Philippine nursing license with at least two years of professional experience as nurse in hospitals, rehabilitation center and care institutions.

They should be proficient in German language or is willing to undergo German language training in the Philippines to attain level b1 to be paid by the employer or with b1 or b2 language proficiency level in accordance with the common European framework of reference for language.

Accepted applicants will receive a starting monthly salary of 1,900 Euro or P100, 187 and after recognition as a qualified nurse, a monthly salary of 2,300 Euro or P121,279. Travel expenses for airfare and the visa will be shouldered by the employer but the board and lodging will be paid in part or in full by qualified nurses.

All nurses applicants are advised to register on-line at www.poea.gov.phor www.eregister.poea.gov.ph and to personally submit the photocopied documents fastened in a folder with the heading “Triple Win” at the POEA satellite office-Bacolod located at the 2nd floor of the old City Hall, Araneta-Luzuriaga Street, Bacolod City or at the POEA regional center in Cebu located at G/F of DOLE 7 Building, Gorordo cor.Maxilom Ave., Cebu City.

Applicants should submit the following documents: high school diploma (notarized copy), nursing diploma (notarized copy), board certificate from professional regulation commission (PRC), certificate of employment from former employer/s (notarized copy) and certificate of German language if available and valid passport.
