The Civil Service Commission (CSC) in the region will hold a Fun Run at the Central Command of the Armed Forces of the Philippines at Camp Lapulapu on September 3, 2016.

This is in line with their celebration on the 116th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary (PCSA) in September.

The event aims to raise funds for the Pondong Pamana ng Lingkod Bayan (PPLB) that will benefit the families of civil servants who die in line of duty.

Registration fee is P350 with singlet (limited stocks only) and P150 without singlet.

This is for both 4K and 7K race categories.

Check-in time starts at 4:30 a.m. for the pre-run work out and gun start at 5:30 am.

Expected participants will be around 1,500 or more to join the event.

There will also be a Precision Walk among agency heads or executives.

Prizes will be given to the top three winners of the men’s and women’s open and government categories in the 4K and 7K distances.

CSC-7 is inviting all government agencies to join the event in support of their anniversary celebration with the theme “Sigaw ng Lingkod Bayani: Malasakit Para sa Taumbayan, Kapwa Kawani, at Kalikasan.” (rmn/hfg/report from CSC-7)
