Four Talisay Schools to Hold ‘Double Classes’

With the influx of students enrolled in Talisay City’s public schools, four of these institutions earlier today declared to hold double shifting of classes.

Talisay Central School, Talisay National High School, Bulacao National High School and Lawaan National High School were among those who will hold double classes for grade-one pupils. This after the student population has almost doubled this school year. City administrator Richel Bacaltos said the shifting classes will only be for grade one, as they only have morning classes. The other half will have afternoon classes, he said. Bacaltos said by the end of the week they will know the number of students enrolled in all of the city’s public schools.
