First Laser Blitz Laser Tag in Visayas Opens in Parkmall

Parkmall brings an exciting and amazing game for family, friends and peer- the first, not only in Cebu but also in Visayas, Laser Blitz laser tag.

Are you familiar with airsoft? It is a modern outdoor combat sport in which participants eliminate their opponents by hitting them with spherical non-metallic pellets launched from a compressed-air gun. Likewise with Laser Blitz, but in this indoor combat game, players will outscore their opponents by blasting them with the phaser gun, it is a long ranger laser rifle.

Laser Blitz in Parkmall has two laser tag arenas which can accommodate 12 people each. Should a bigger group play, both arenas are combined into one huge battlefield accommodating all 24 players.

The venue has also a function room for 40 people, a snackbar and a VIP lounge. There is also a football table, an air hockey table and multiple Xbox Kinect units for added entertainment.

What is Laser Tag?

Laser Blitz’s laser tag uses award-winning Laser Tag Equipment which is the winner of the Endace Innovative Hi-Tech Hardware Product at the 2014 New Zealand Hi-Tech awards.

Laser tag is a live-action sport, a combination of paintball and video games.

Players enter a laser tag arena, armed with their laser tag phaser and vest. Players can be divided into teams, or sent out on their own. Its mission is to shoot the opposing players with your laser tag gun, and score the most points.

The Game

To understand the laser tag game, it is also important to know about the equipment – the laser tag guns and vests.

Laser tag game players wear a vest with a phaser gun attached.

When the player pulls the trigger of the gun, an infrared signal from the phaser is emitted.

The laser game aims to “tag” the other team- this is done by targeting at the other players vests.

The vests are illuminated with different colors to indicate what team that a player belongs to. When the other player is tagged, their gun deactivates for a set time period.

During the deactivation period, the lights on the vest go out or become dim and the phaser gun will no longer operates. The gun and vest re-activate after a set time of 10 seconds.

Laser tag rates

Laser Blitz laser tag tickets are sold at 150/ pax during weekdays and 180/ pax on weekends or holidays. Each team should comprise of a minimum of 8 players to begin the game.

Parkmall opens at 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM, located in Ouano Avenue in Mandaue City.
