First HIV Caravan Held in Cebu

LoveYourSelf Cebu, in partnership with Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. (PSPC) held its very first caravan for HIV awareness and screening on Saturday, January 11 at the PSPC Regional Office in Barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City, Cebu.

“We are happy that several companies and organizations join us in our advocacy,” said Jan Estrada, LoveYourself Cebu Head.

Estrada said that LoveYourself Cebu will continuously collaborate with different partners and stakeholders to serve and help more people.

Currently, Central Visayas is the 4th region in the country to have the highest number of cases with 93 new cases in July 2019. 567 HIV cases were reported in Region 7 from January to July 2019.

Meanwhile, LoveYourself Cebu is proud to announce that in 2019, they served over 2,000 people through 47 caravans and different collaborations with other entities. (MLC)
