Fair Weather Seen in Most Parts of PHL

Except in extreme Northern Luzon, fair weather continues in most parts of the country on Monday, according to Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The northeast monsoon continues to be the dominant weather system affecting extreme Northern Luzon.

For Monday forecast, PAGASA said cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over the province of Batanes and the Islands of Calayan and Babuyan while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains is expected over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao.

It added moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast to east will prevail over Northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas.

The state weather bureau has not issued gale warning as fisherfolk are safe to venture into the seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
