Fair Weather Continues Wednesday — PAGASA

Published

on

The public will continue to experience fair weather with isolated thunderstorms on Wednesday in most parts of the country because of the ridge of high pressure area (HPA) extending towards Northern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The HPA, which is the opposite of the low pressure area (LPA), is associated with light winds, less rainclouds, and drier air.

In its Wednesday forecast, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

It added moderate to occasionally strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Eastern Mindanao and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest over the rest of Mindanao and blowing from the northeast over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas. (PNA) JBP/CLTC
