Experience the Thrill of Cycling for Health and Wellness as Pru Life UK’s PRURide PH 2023 Takes on Cebu

Pru Life UK is once again organizing the highly anticipated cycling festival, PRURide Philippines. For the first time, this annual event will be held in the Visayan Islands, promoting a healthier lifestyle among the Cebuano community through cycling.

On May 28, the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway (CCLEX) will be filled with amateur and professional cyclists, families, and friends, enjoying a fun ride while supporting a worthy cause. Participants can register for different Gran Fondo categories, while the Kids Ride and Family Fun Ride are free of charge. The Virtual PRURide finals will also take place on May 28, with top finishers receiving cash prizes and fun giveaways.

As part of Prudential’s 175th anniversary celebration, this year’s PRURide Philippines, which will also be held on May 21 in Clark, is bigger than ever. The festival will feature Pru Life UK’s official advocates, including Gretchen Ho, Kim Atienza, and Zoren Legaspi, as well as cycling content creators and health champions.

In Cebu, JCI Zugbuanas will receive 88 bikes for their chosen community.

Joining PRURide Philippines 2023 is an excellent opportunity for Cebuanos to celebrate life with their family and community. Cyclists of all levels can participate in the Gran Fondo, a safe and timed ride ranging from 30 to 60 and 100 kilometers, with Gran Fondo 30 ideal for beginners, and Gran Fondo 100 replicating the route taken by professional cyclists. The Family Fun Ride is a 5-kilometer cycling activity for families, while the Kids Ride is a fun and friendly race for children.

On April 30th, the pre-qualifying round of the Cebu Virtual PRURide kicked off with great excitement, as the top six finalists competed for the chance to win cash prizes in the grand finals on May 28th. The third, second, and first place winners will receive Php 3,000, Php 5,000, and Php 10,000, respectively.

PRURide Philippines 2023 will culminate with a free concert by a top OPM band. An eligible Pru Life UK policy owner can also win an all-expense-paid trip for four to London through the PRURide Philippines 2023 raffle.
