Endless Possibilities

A girl walked into class one day.
A forced smile on her face.
Her backpack wasn’t the only thing on her shoulders
but the weight of the world was too,
But it wouldn’t look that way to you.

So she took her seat with a forced smile on her face, she began to look around,
class hasn’t started yet,
their teacher was nowhere to be found.

She tapped her foot to the beat of her favorite song,
which spoke about her a lot more than she’d like to let on.

To everyone else nothing seemed wrong.

But what they all didn’t know is that a part of her is gone,

so others ignored here an continued to have fun.
There’s a lot more to what one person sees,
I’ll tell you, there are endless possibilities.
