Duterte Names Cebuano Traders as Presidential Assistant for Visayas

Presumptive president and incumbent Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has named Cebuano businessman Michael Lloyd Dino as presidential assistant for the Visayas.

Dino’s appointment was confirmed by Duterte’s spokesman lawyer Salvador Panelo.

Dino is the executive vice president of Fifth Avenue Property Development Corporation, which was the Cebu Provincial Government’s partner for the PHP1.5-billion Ciudad project in Barangay Apas, Cebu City.

But the project did not push through.

He is also the founder of the Bisaya Na Pud Movement, “aninitiative of the 35-million Bisaya community” to support Duterte’s candidacy in the May 9 elections.

He is a Bachelor of Science in Business Management graduate from the De La Salle University in Manila. (PNA) FFC/EB/EBP
