Couple Arrested in a Buy-Bust Operation

A couple was arrested after operatives recovered over P300k worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride locally known as “shabu” on a Wednesday in Borbajo St. Brgy. Talamban, Cebu City, February 6, 2019.

Operatives from Pardo Police Station led by Police Chief Inspector Regino Maramag Jr., launched the buy-bust operation in the area and arrested the couple after they transacted with an undercover police.

Police identified the suspects as Arthur Cajes and Sheryl Cajes both were tagged as high value targets.

Recovered from the suspects were 55.4 grams of suspected shabu with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P360,100.

The couple will face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (ASC)
