Concert sa Mingla

Concert sa Mingla presents Missing Filemon this August 20, 2015 Thursday at the Minglanilla Sports Complex.

Show starts at 7pm with P50.00 for the ticket entrance. The once in a lifetime event will also feature Aggressive Audio, Manomano, Switch and Shoelace Drift.

Minglanilla is a first income class municipality in the province of Cebu Province, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 113,178.

Minglanilla lies within Metro Cebu. It is known as the “Sugat Capital of the south”. The Kabanhawan (Cebuano for “Resurrection”) Festival is held annually on Easter Sunday.

A big socio-religious event in Minglanilla which attracts not only people from adjacent towns but also from Cebu City and farther, is the Sugat. Sugat in Cebuano means meeting. On Black Saturday night, a public dance is held at the Church Plaza to witness the re-enactment of the “meeting” of the risen Christ and his mother. Their images, borne on richly-decorated carrozas, meet amidst joyous songs and the presence of child angels suspended by wires.

Shoelace Drift is a four-piece all-girl band from the Queen City of the South who refuse to do just laundries on weekends. They play alternative rock, 90’s music, indie rock band composed of Jah Hermoso on drums, Jang Hermoso on bass, Angel Casipong on guitars and JhemEchevarria on vocals.

Missing Filemon is a Cebuano band formed in 2002. The band came out with its debut album in 2003. They have also released their album entitled Sinesine on 2005, Kawanangan on 2012 and Dekada on 2014.
