Seeking a place to belong

Seasons are not too long
Is there someone like me?
Colors I blend in
Those eyes of prejudice
Feel like I did sin
An unfamiliar voice whispered
Your not alone my friend
You may be different but we are all the same
Whatever our colors, we all fade in the rain
You don’t have to worry
We are all connected
Not with colors or faces
But with feelings we shared
