Cloudy Skies, Some Rains Expected Over Philippines on Wednesday

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains is expected over the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley, state weather bureau Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its 24-hour advisory, PAGASA added that partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the archipelago.

According to PAGASA, northeast monsoon is affecting Northern Luzon. Easterlies, on the other hand, affect the eastern sections of central and southern Luzon, as well as Visayas and Mindanao.

Moderate to strong winds will blow from the northeast over northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

Winds will be light to moderate coming from northeast over the rest of Luzon, and from east to northeast over the rest of the country with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.(PNA)JMC/MCCA
