City Receives Brand New Vehicles

The Department of Engineering and Public Works (DEPW) received brand new vehicles on Friday, February 26, 2016, in a turnover ceremony that was held near the Senior Citizens’ Park and Magellan’s Park.

The vehicles that the city government acquired are nine brand new 10-wheeler dump trucks amounting to P39,573,000.00, six double cab pick-up vehicles worth P8,850,000.00 in total, and six service vehicles amounting to P5,010,000.00. The city government also received a new declogger which was charged from the disaster management’s budget.

These vehicles are part of the 2015 budget. The new vehicles will be used in the various projects of the DEPW and OBO (Office of the Building Official) such as declogging of drainages, surveying and monitoring of projects especially in the mountain barangays.
