Citom Reroutes Pardo Traffic

The Cebu City Traffic Operations Management (Citom) announced the rerouting scheme in Barangay Pardo effective on Friday up to Sunday.

Citom operations chief Joy Tumulak said all buses, mini buses, trucks and trailers have to take the Cebu South Coastal Road, as the main road in Barangay Pardo is closed to them on Friday until Sunday. Tumulak said only public utility jeepneys (PUJ) and private vehicles are allowed to ply in the said route.

The move, Tumulak said, is to avoid traffic congestion in the whole stretch of Pardo road as it celebrates the feast of Santo Tomas de Villanueva.

“PUJ ray makasud sa Pardo. Mi-coordinate nami sa SRP, bus operators, Cebu Truckers Association ug South Bus Terminal,” he said.
