Chinese Consulate Donates New Ambulance

As the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic still threatens the lives of many people, the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Cebu donated a brand new ambulance to the Department of Health Central Visayas (DOH)-7.

The 16-seater ambulance will help the region to have additional resources to address the pandemic.

The Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Cebu will also donate another emergency rescue vehicle to the Cebu Provincial Capitol.

The town of Oslob in Cebu and the Bohol Provincial Government also received an ambulance from the Chinese Consulate.

Apart from the ambulances, the Chinese Consulate has also recently donated 7,292 bags of rice worth P3.5 million to the City and Provincial Governments of Cebu.

Present during the turn over were Consulate General Jia Li, Presidential Assistant for the Visayas Secretary Michael Dino, DOH-7 Regional Director Dr. Jaime Bernadas and other officials. (MLC)
