“So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them” Genesis 1:27

God made us in His own image. This makes us unique among God’s creatures because we reflect Him, including His character traits. We have the potential to be loving, truthful, patient, forgiving, kind, and faithful. Being made in God’s image does not equate with being a god or even godly, but that we have many of God’s characteristics. The crisis that we go through? Those can help mold the character that God intended us to have. He wants us to use them as He does, to honor and benefit others.
