With the aim of leading the IT/BPM industry of Cebu into greater heights, the Cebu Educational Development Foundation (CEDF-IT) will hold the 2017 Transformation Summit on May 22 at Marco Polo Plaza Hotel.

Formerly called Cebu Digital Transformation Summit, the rebranded event will be a great opportunity for participants to learn updates on the Philippine IT-BPM Roadmap 2022 and find out the direction and programs of the Cebu City Government for the industry.

The 2017 Transformation Summit will also be a venue for participants to know more about cybercrime, growing and hitting head count targets for Cebu, industry views on artificial intelligence, importance of investing in opportunity and talents, how to gear for more growth, how to help drive the industry into higher value services, how to manage change, and upcoming infrastructures, including the Mactan International Airport terminal.

The 2017 Transformation Summit, which CEDF-IT is independently organizing, is the result of CEDFIT’s evolution to be a full-time industry association starting this year.

According to CEDT-IT, the IT-BPM industry in Cebu has grown exponentially and it is high time to have an industry association.

The upcoming summit is aligned with CEDF-IT’s mission to drive Cebu’s sustainable growth towards higher value services through proactive intervention in talent development and assessment, strong academe-industry ecosystem inter-linkages, active support in industry development and promotions, and strategic collaborations and plans.

CEDF-IT will also be inviting the summit delegates to join the 3rd Cebu IT/BPM Recognition Night on the same day at 7 p.m. at the Cebu Provincial Capitol.

The 2017 Transformation Summit rate is at P2,000 for academe, ICT councils and local government units, P2,500 for CEDF-IT members, and P3,500 for non-CEDF-IT members. The fee already includes a conference kit and meals and snacks at the plenary session.

On-site rate will be different at P2,500 for academe, ICT councils and local government units, P3,000 for CEDF-IT members, and P4,000 for non-CEDF-IT members.

To register, or for additional information, call the CEDF-It office at 236-5081 and look for Erma or email emduetes@cedfit.org or visit www.tscebu.com to register online.
