Cebu Pacific Air will utilize its brand-new Airbus A330 aircraft on one of its daily Manila-Hong Kong-Manila flights, from September 16 to October 4, 2013. This increases the number of available CEB seats on this route by 36%.

CEB upgraded the aircraft used for flights 5J 118/119 between Manila and Hong Kong, from a 180-seater Airbus A320 to a 436-seater Airbus A330 aircraft. This is scheduled after CEB accepts delivery of its 2nd Airbus A330 aircraft from Toulouse, France in September 2013.

The airline flies four times daily from Manila to Hong Kong, daily from both Clark and Cebu to Hong Kong, and twice weekly from Iloilo to Hong Kong.

“There is a great degree of interest in travel to Hong Kong, and we at Cebu Pacific want to continuously stimulate this demand with our trademark lowest fares, and more flights and routes. To date, we offer guests the most number of routes to Hong Kong, providing many travelers from all over the Philippines fast and convenient access to this popular international destination,” said CEB Vice President for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

To further promote travel to Hong Kong, CEB holds a P999 seat sale from Manila until August 7, 2013 or until seats last. The P999 seats are for travel from September 15 to November 30, 2013.

For bookings and inquiries, guests can go to www.cebupacificair.com or call the reservation hotlines (02)7020-888 or (032)230-8888. The latest seat sales can also be found on CEB’s official Twitter and Facebook pages.

CEB earlier announced it will operate a total of six brand-new Airbus A330 aircraft by 2015. These aircraft will be utilized for CEB’s long-haul operations, which will be launched with direct daily Manila-Dubai services on October 7, 2013.

Since its inception in 1996, CEB has flown over 75 million passengers. It also posted a good track record in stimulating short-haul travel of passengers around Asia, with an 11% system-wide passenger growth in 2012.

CEB currently offers 22 international destinations, namely Bali, Bangkok, Beijing, Brunei, Busan, Dubai, Guangzhou, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, Hong Kong, Incheon (Seoul), Jakarta, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Macau, Osaka, Phuket, Shanghai, Siem Reap, Singapore, Taipei and Xiamen. It also operates the most extensive network in the Philippines with 34 domestic destinations and hubs in Manila, Cebu, Clark, Kalibo, Iloilo and Davao.

Cebu Air Inc. is the largest carrier in the Philippine air transportation industry, offering its low-cost services to more destinations and routes with higher flight frequency within the Philippines than any other airline.

CEB currently operates 10 Airbus A319, 27 Airbus A320, 1 Airbus A330 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. Its fleet of 46 aircraft is one of the youngest aircraft fleets in Asia. Between 2013 and 2021, Cebu Pacific will take delivery of 15 more Airbus A320 and 30 Airbus A321neo aircraft orders, and 5 Airbus A330 aircraft on operating lease agreements.
