Cebu City To Celebrate Its 86th Charter Day

In line with the celebration of the 86th Charter Day of Cebu City on February 24, the city government announced a week-long celebration of the city’s charter day.

The Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) said that they will be on high alert during the city’s week-long celebration of its charter day.

CCPO will also tighten the city’s security on the 37th anniversary of the EDSA revolution, February 25, 2023.

CCPO deputy director for operations, Lieutenant Colonel Janette Rafter, said that they have already deployed officers to secure the city during the weeklong celebration of its charter day.

Meanwhile, Cebu City Hall employees will receive a P15,000 bonus during the city’s charter day celebration. The release of the said bonus has not been announced yet as of writing.

February 24, Friday, is a Special Non-Working holiday. This is pursuant to Republic Act 7287. (ASC)
