Cebu City will be closed to all buses, including mini-buses, coming from South Cebu before dawn on Sunday. All of them will be diverted to barangay Mambaling access road starting 2 a.m.

Acting Cebu South Bus Terminal (CSBT) Operations Manager Eddie Dusaban said the province-owned terminal will be closed before dawn. Dusaban said buses and mini-buses will have to transfer to the South Road Properties (SRP) before 2 a.m.

He added that buses will have to unload their passengers at the SRP because all roads leading to Sinulog route will be closed to all vehicles.

CSBT will be opened again at 10pm.

Dusaban noted that there will be a shortage of buses and mini buses due to an increase of number of passengers that will come to Cebu City for the Sinulog Grand Parade.

With this, he said he will request the Capitol to deploy at least eight Suroy-suroy vehicles and Cebu City for available Kaoshsiung buses to ferry some passengers coming from other provinces.
