Cebu City, Talisay City Gov’t Release Temporary List of Debris Free Areas

The local governments of both Cebu and Talisay cities said on separate advisories that they have cleared some of the rubble amid the aftermath of typhoon Odette.

The Cebu City government dispatched 30 dump trucks in different barangays for the clearing operation on December 22.

Here are the list of passable areas free of obstacles and rubble in Cebu City, as per the Cebu City Public Information Office (Cebu City PIO).

  • Colon Area
  • Jones – Fuente Osmeña to Capitol
  • B. Rodriguez to Mango Avenue
  • P. Del Rosario Street
  • J. Urgello to V. Rama
  • Capitol (Escario St.)
  • Gorordo St.
  • Jakosalem St.

Cebu City PIO also added that the city government will also dispatch 50 dump trucks along with 10 operational payloaders for further clearing operations within the city today, December 23.

Meanwhile, Talisay City already cleared roads from Poblacion, Tangke, and Tabuok on December 20, as shared by Talisay City Mayor Gerald Anthony “Samsam” Gullas Jr. on his Facebook page. (GFB)
