The Adopt-A- Station Committee of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) officially commenced the initial phase of the Clearance Office Roof Extension for the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) at the NBI Central Visayas Regional Compound – a project expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2016.

The project was inaugurated with a ceremony on the fourth of May 2016. It aims to provide a decent waiting shed that would allow NBI clients to protect themselves from rain and intense sunlight. The project also hopes to contribute to a conducive working atmosphere for NBI personnel that will enhance overall productivity.

The initial phase of the project would have been impossible if not for its instrumental donors: Dr. Pericles Dakay (Dakay Construction and Development Corp.), Michael Basubas (Diamond Cane International), Napoleon Pe Jr. (Aboitiz Construction Group (Metaphil)), Cecil Aligno (Philmetal Products), Kristy King Luy (Asia Glass Palace), Stanley Ong (Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines), Archt. Ramon Vios Jr. (Conarch Construction), Jay Yuballos (Interior Basic Export Corp), CCCI Trustee Archt. Benjamin Avila and CCI Past Presidents Consul Samuel Chioson and Carlos.

This is part of the CCCI’s advocacy to address the infrastructure needs in the peace and security agencies within Cebu. The chambers believes that addressing such infrastructure needs will allow for personnel to efficiently and effectively execute their duties and responsibilities.
