Bye-bye Bloating!

Bloating can make your gut feel extra full and flabby, and cause you unfortunate burping and flatulence. To tame up your tummy, read up on these belly basics!

1. Big gulp. Chewing can definitely get you gassy! Anything from talking while eating, finishing your meal too quickly or sipping from a straw can lead you to swallow a large amount of air, leaving you extra bloated.

2. Fat fact. Familiar with that not-so great feeling after you’ve eaten a really big meal? Chances are, that discomfort is being caused by food that’s high in fat, which delays digestion and triggers your tummy’s uneasiness.

3. Water works. People think that drinking too much aqua can leave you feeling bloated but on the contrary, the more you drink the less water you retain! This is because when you’ve eaten too much salt, your body has a tendency to hold onto water to lower the extra-high sodium levels. When you drink water your body doesn’t need to compensate for the salt in your body.
