Brgy. Councilor Nabbed in Buy-Bust Op in Bohol
A barangay councilor in Cortes, Bohol was arrested for the possession of methamphetamine hydrochloride also known ‘shabu’ on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
Around 8:00 in the evening, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office VII (PDEA RO VII – Bohol), Cortes Municipal Police Station and Maritime Police cconducted the buy-bust operation in Brgy. Loreto, Cortes, Bohol.

The operation led to the arrest of the 27 year old Brgy. Loreto Councilor Jay Peter Namoc.
Namoc yielded two packs of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of a gram worth P6,800 and a cellular phone.
Namoc will soon face charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (ASC)
