Bigger Track Fest Set in Consolacion, Cebu this Weekend

A much bigger Sagidaz Track Fest will unfold this weekend at the Cansaga Bay Bridge in Consolacion town in northern Cebu.

The second edition of the fixie competition, organized by Sagidaz riders, is a three-day event featuring competitions in drag sprint, track stand, longest skid and last wheel standing for fixie bicycles.

For this year, fixie riders from Iloilo Brakeless, Bacolod Fixed Gear, Laguna Fixie and Davao Fixed gears will be coming to take on Cebu’s fixie riders.

Orlando Gacko of Sagidaz said that they were expecting a total of 40 participants from Iloilo, Bacolod, Laguna and Davao.

Aside from that, there are 20 Sagidaz members that will be joining together with some fixie enthusiasts in Cebu.

The first day on Friday will be the arrival of the participants and they will be welcomed by a dinner gathering hosted by Sagidaz.

The competition will blast off on Saturday and will wrap up on Sunday. (PNA) RMA/EB/MP/SSC
