Big Mao Launches New Brand, Introduces New Dishes

When one talks about food in Cebu, it is almost impossible not to mention the Creative Cuisine Gourmet Group. With over twenty years of experience in the food industry, it comes as no surprise that their restaurants such as Chika-an, Brique, Ettas and Big Daddy have become the Cebuanos’ top-of-mind choice when it comes Filipino, modern bistro, and eclectic dining. But aside from these, the group also specializes in Chinese cuisine, which is the reason why they opened Big Mao in 2003.

For fourteen years, Big Mao has continually wowed Cebuanos with traditional Chinese dishes, making it one of the most coveted Chinese restaurants in Cebu. Aside from the great flavor of their food, Big Mao also offers the traditional Chinese dining experience with almost all elements in the restaurant adorned with the color red. Like any other businesses, Big Mao believes that constant enhancement and innovation is key to success.

We’ve been running for fourteen years already and it is the perfect time for change, Creative Cuisine Gourmet Group CEO, John Alex Dytian shares.

With its new look, Big Mao exudes a Chinese contemporary dining experience to give their customers a look at modern China. Their branch at Ayala Center Cebu has just gone through a complete revamp while their overall brand was also enhanced. Shades of rustic brown and grey dominate the new restaurant while its signature color red remains in their new logo and menu.

Aside from its new contemporary look, Big Mao has also added over twenty new dishes such as Beef Hotpot with Raddish, Crystal Shrimps with Broccoli, Asparagus with Scallops, Truffled Pork and Mushroom Noodles and Salted Duck Egg Squid to name a few. Although things have been new for Big Mao, their roster of all-time favorites such as Min Min Prawn Roulade, Lamon-Lamon with Garlic Overload, Salted Duck Egg Crusted Chicken and Mixed Seafood Hotpot with Beancurd will still be available for customers to enjoy.

Big Mao has reopened to the public on September 15, 2017. It is located in 2F Ayala Terraces, Cebu and is open from 11AM-10PM daily.
