Best Western Plus Lex Hotel Cebu Rolls Out “Dear Santa” Campaign

Yuletide season is children’s favorite time of the year. It is the time when most people put away pretty little differences and interact with each other with joy.

And to make a worthwhile contribution, Best Western Plus Lex Hotel Cebu initiated its 2nd “Dear Santa, I wish…” campaign this year.

The campaign

Best Western Hotel Cebu has randomly picked 50 children to be the recipients of the gift-giving initiative dubbed as the “Dear Santa, I wish…” program and the grade one pupils of Kamputhaw Elementary School, who are stemmed from poverty-stricken families, are this year’s recipient.

Last year, Best Western Hotel Cebu has successfully brought smile and joy to the 50 kids from Medellin, Cebu, who were ravaged by the super typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan), after they were chosen as the recipients of the hotel’s campaign.

The “Dear Santa, I wish…” program is a corporate social responsibility of the hotel, where donors grant the wishes of the kids whose photos hang on the Christmas tree towering at the hotel lobby.

Everyone can be a Santa Claus to any of the 50 kids. All you have to do is to pick a photo of the child you have chosen from the hotel’s Christmas tree, read her/his wish and grant it. Thereafter, register first at the front office counter then you may place your gifts at the hotel’s Christmas tree with their names on it, email addresses and the name of the child of choice.

A team from Best Western will hand these gifts to the children on December 23, 2014.

All guests who participated will be acknowledged through email or in Facebook page.

The hotel’s campaign is truly a way of giving back smile and joy to children’s heart by granting their humble Christmas wishes.

The campaign runs until December 21, 2014.
