Beauty Queen Nabbed for ‘MJ’
A Binibining Cebu 2018 candidate was arrested in a buy-bust operation on December 15, 2018 in Escario St., Brgy. Camputhaw, Cebu City.
Guadalupe Police recovered 7 packs of high-grade marijuana also known as “kush” from Teri Marina Colmenares, 22 who lives in Echavez St., Cebu City.
Colmenares was the representative of Municipality of Carmen for Binibining Pilipinas 2018.
Colmenares was arrested after she was pinpointed as the supplier of party drugs of recently arrested Nicole Allan Casiño, 24, a native of Cagayan de Oro. Casiño was arrested in Salinas Drive in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
Casiño was said to be the source of the party drug that was used by a Disk Jockey when he allegedly drugged and raped a woman earlier this year.
Suspects are now facing jail time for charges in violation of R.A. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (Aljun S. Cainghog)
