Ayala Center Cebu Opens New Wing

Cebuanos will now have an additional option as to where they would shop, dine and hang out with the opening of the new wing of Ayala Center Cebu (ACC).

The expansion project of Cebu’s premier lifestyle, dining and shopping destination was commenced yesterday, Dec. 11, giving partners, customers, members of the media and shareholders a maiden first look of the impressive project.

It boasts of a four-level expansion featuring homegrown brands, premium foreign brands such as Zara and Gap among many others, European flagship stores, and American brands in the first and second levels, respectively.

Purposely designed with sustainable components such as green roofing, district cooling system, natural lighting through clerestories and energy-efficient lighting fixtures, ACC’s new wing also houses I.T. stores in the third level. This intends to strengthen the said specialties in terms of brand offerings and in keeping with the lifestyle of the upwardly mobile and techno-savvy patriots. The entire area will be expanded with bigger stores, stronger brands and more accessories. Aside from I.T brands, the third floor will also be the location of highly specialized shops for kids and the home.

For the lifestyle aficionados whose favorite is to hang out with their friends and families, Ayala Center Cebu new wing’s peak, the fourth floor, will be a destination itself with carefully selected dining outlets, a cinema, and a chapel in an outdoor setting. It features a generous beauty of landscape areas, water features, and views of the Cebu landscape, completing the upscale dining experience of the shoppers.

The four-level expansion completes the retail Master Plan of Ayala Center Cebu. It intends to strengthen the retail mall’s position as the main hub for shopping, dining and entertainment by introducing the new cosmopolitan shopping. It reinforces the image of the mall as the icon style in Cebu.

A total of 155 stores will be added to the existing 450 stores of the existing mall, and the new ones will be on full swing in the first quarter of next year. A seamless connection to the existing mall on all levels including parking, three levels of basement parking and an extended time of closure of all merchants in the fourth level also comprise the additional features of the expansion. Rustan’s Department Store and Rustan’s Fresh will also occupy three levels in the malls’ new annex.

The first level of the mall’s expanded area will have an activity center which will hold intimate events and world-class performing artists, while the fourth level will be a convergence area for the retail and other future components. Ground floor’s entrance is likewise a statement of its own, providing an impressive sense of arrival for the shoppers. The expansion’s overall ambiance is enhanced with elegant warm lighting and world-class finishes.

Upholding to the Ayala Malls’ prime priority which is superior customer service, valet parking, concierge desk, customer lounge, and a family lounge with nursing rooms and nappy nooks are also provided.
