Responding to the rapid growth of the Visayas insurance market, AXA Philippines recently rebranded its regional office in Cebu, and launched it as the AXA Center.

In the last 17 years, we have seen a steady growth of the Visayas market. We believe this is an opportune time to further expand our presence here. By the launch of the AXA Center in Cebu, our sales network will be able to maximize the growth potential in the region, while we provide innovative financial solutions that meet our clients’ evolving needs,” said Marie Raymundo, Chief Distribution Officer of AXA Philippines.

Following its acquisition of Charter Ping An, the country’s fifth largest non-life insurance company in the Philippines, AXA Philippines is now in a strong position to provide both life and non-life financial solutions to its clients.

“We aim to reach more Filipinos and give them access to financial solutions for their health, retirement, and investment needs,” adds Geoff Tan, Chief Agency Officer of AXA Philippines, “as well as help them protect their assets by offering motor car, fire and personal accident insurance”.

To further boost AXA’s presence in the Visayas, the company also celebrated the blessing of the new Tan Dynasty branch, the Cebu office of one of AXA’s leading agency partners, Mr. John Tan.

In 2016, AXA recorded a Total Premium Income of P 21.5 billion, driven by the strong performance of the business. As of end 2016, AXA Philippines had over 3,000 agents and over 700 financial executives servicing more than 900 Metrobank and PSBank branches nationwide.
