Alone This Christmas

“How precious to me are Your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!” Psalm 139:17

You may feel that you’re the only one around this Christmas season. But it’s not true because God, who is the God of all truth, is with you! Not only Christmas season but everyday He is thinking about you daily. Don’t fret when you feel you’re lonely because He is with you. He is Emmanuel–God with us! Thinking otherwise may just cause you to feel sorry for yourself and become discouraged. You can use this “alone time” to focus on God, to meditate on what He has done for you–the saving act of God in your life by sending His one and only begotten Son Jesus Christ. Aside from reflecting, you may also share your time with others by helping them and seeing their need. In this way, it takes away your mind from yourself to others thus, giving you the feeling of fulfillment. Put yourself in places where you can meet and get to know people. sooner your life will be blessed with friendships.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10
